Facilities
It is ideal for children’s parties, and baptism and funeral receptions. It is also regulary used for fitness classes, bridge evenings, art groups and much more.
There is a large hall to accommodate up to 150 for meetings, lectures, concerts, parties etc, or 100 for seated dining.
A smaller hall accommodates up to 100 – ideal for activities such as yoga, dancing, sports and children’s events.
A meeting room is also available, which holds 35. Both the large hall and the meeting room have service access to the fully equipped kitchen.
Our Parish Centre helps to bring our community together. It is the central point of contact and the hub of information in Bowdon Parish.
The Parish Centre contains two large halls and a smaller meeting room, as well as two kitchens and the Parish Office. Staff and volunteers in the office extend a welcome to everyone who drops in, and the Parish Centre is a central part of community life.
The building is used by over forty different groups and five hundred people each week and any income from bookings is used to cover the cost of running the Parish Centre and so provides the community with a valuable resource.
It is the home for many of the groups featured on this website who meet daily, weekly and monthly. There’s always something going on at the Parish Centre and you’re sure to find something to join in with. Drop by and see us and find out what activity or meeting would suit you!
