What’s On

There’s always something going on in Bowdon Parish

Bowdon Parish is always busy. Whether there’s a group meeting at the Parish Centre or a Service at St Mary’s or St Luke’s, every day there is something to do or join in with. We have many special events planned throughout the year to celebrate Christian events and festivals and also run numerous events to highlight awareness of the Church in the community. Please take a look at our calendar of events to see what’s coming up or even better, why not sign up to our newsletter to keep informed of the latest news and upcoming events.

Worship

We have daily services of worship at St Mary’s and St Luke’s and regular meetings, events and gatherings at the Parish Centre. Please check the table below for our service schedule.

Keep up to date with what’s going on with our regularly updated facebook page and download our pew sheets for service detail and monthly Bowdon Church Newsletter for news, events and announcements.

Find out about Service times at our three places of worship; St Mary’s, St Luke’s and at our Parish Centre. There are 9 services each week, with additional services at Lent, Easter and Christmas.

Bowdon Church News

For the past 54 years the Bowdon Church News has been delivered, free, to every accessible home in the parish (currently some 2,700). Thanks to our distribution co-ordinator, Judith Robertson, and our team of 110 distributors, that is something we are committed to continuing. But an increasing number of people living outside the parish want to receive it too, so I am delighted that Will Sudworth has created a high-quality email version, with pictures, which enables readers to click through to the stories they want to read. If you, or a friend, would like to join the mailing list and receive the BCN in your inbox every month, please contact Will at Will@BowdonChurch.org or click here to subscribe.
