Floodlit Tower

Unlike many parish churches, St Mary's is not built on a main thoroughfare. Although this brings the benefits of relative calm, it means that unless someone knows Bowdon, they may not know that the church is there. But now a generous anonymous donor has paid for the church tower to be floodlit at night so that its fine profile can be seen for miles around. We are very grateful.
