Confirmation is the time when people make a commitment to the Christian faith, confirming their wish to follow Christ and to live a Christian life. It is also about praying that God will confirm or strengthen that commitment.

A number of adults and teenagers who have been following the Exploring Christianity course will be confirmed by the Rt Revd Dr Peter Forster, Bishop of Chester, at St Mary’s on Sunday 25 November at 10.45 am.

You are warmly invited to join the families and friends of the confirmation candidates, so that together we can support and encourage them as they publicly affirm their Christian faith and declare their intention to live a life of responsible and committed discipleship. After the service, at about 12.30 pm, light refreshments will be served in the Parish Centre.
