Coffee, Cake and Conversation

This is a new informal group which started in September, 2011. It is hosted by members of the Visiting Group and we have already had six successful meetings.

It meets on the third Tuesday afternoon of each month between 2 pm and 3.30 pm in the Parish Centre. The aim is to provide a happy social occasion where those of a slightly older age group can meet and enjoy coffee, tea or juice, a variety of cakes and a lot of friendly conversation.

Sometimes a member of the group volunteers to give a short talk and sometimes a member might offer to bring a cake. But no-one need feel that they have to do anything—just turn up and enjoy a pleasant hour-and-a-half.
